SERVICES FOR ENERGETICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Thermal imaging inspections are an important tool in the diagnosis of photovoltaic farms. They allow detection of potential problems in photovoltaic installations, such as damage to solar panels, short circuits, insulation problems or improper connections.
Thermal inspection uses thermal imaging cameras that are able to detect infrared radiation emitted by solar panels. This makes it possible to visualize the temperature of each panel and detect areas that are warmer or cooler than others.
The discovery of areas of elevated temperatures can indicate damage in the panels, which can lead to a drop in performance or even complete failure of the installation. That's why regular thermal imaging inspections are key to maintaining optimal performance and safety of PV farms.
The advantage of using drones with thermal imaging cameras is primarily the speed of work and the ability to perform inspections from any height (distance from PV panels) - from 1m to 120m and over any wide area.
Thermal imaging inspections of energy infrastructure is the process of assessing the technical condition of equipment and installations using thermal imaging.
Thermal imaging can be used in various types of energy infrastructure, including power plants, thermal power plants, transformer stations, transmission and distribution networks.
During a thermal imaging inspection, we identify and locate areas of elevated temperatures in equipment and installations. These areas can be the result of malfunctions or damage. With this method, we detect potential problems that can lead to failures, resulting in increased repair costs, loss of energetics and even safety risks.
The advantage of using drones with thermal imaging cameras is, first of all, the possibility of inspecting dangerous human sites of power infrastructure equipment. Drones allow remote identification of potential problems, recording of problem locations and collection of data for later analysis and reporting.
Telecommunications infrastructure inspections are an important tool in the process of controlling the quality of operation of individual components as well as planning the modernization and expansion of infrastructure mounted on telecommunications towers.
We perform thermal imaging studies of telecom tower components, photographic inspections, photogrammetric raids for Dense Cloud generation and 3D modeling. Our studies are fully metric and allow us to make precise measurements directly from 3D models.
Based on the above studies, the infrastructure manager is able to:
- conduct technical inspections without site visits;
- prepare 3D models to simulate telecom infrastructure expansion;
- document and provide options for equipment placement, cabling availability, and other technical factors affecting cellular mast lease performance.
- perform precise measurements of antenna placement and azimuths;
We use drones equipped with RGB cameras with multiple zoom options and thermal imaging cameras to conduct inspections and photogrammetric raids (3D modeling) of telecommunications towers.
